Volunteering with Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital

Our volunteers touch our community by helping their neighbors, friends and each other. We appreciate the energy and the commitment they have made to our hospital. Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital's volunteers serve 25 departments, including areas such as our blood pressure clinic, gift shop, hospitality cart, music therapy, special mailings, pet visitations, Sunshine Club, and more.

Volunteers typically work a four-hour shift, one day per week. Adult volunteers are requested to make a six-month commitment and student volunteers are requested to make a three- month commitment.

All persons 16 years and older interested in volunteering at PHRMH should complete an application form and background disclosure. New volunteer orientation is monthly on the 2nd Wednesday from 3pm-5pm. We schedule service placement 3 days after orientation.
