Welcome
Welcome to Providence House in Oakland, California.  Founded in 1991, Providence House is a low-income supportive housing program serving persons with disabling HIV, AIDS and other physical disabilities.  We understand supportive housing to be permanent and affordable housing for those who have special needs, linked to tenant-centered support services and property management.  Providence House Oakland is located near a bus line, BART station and many medical providers including Sutter Hospital.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must possess a medically verifiable physical disability.

Applicants annual income must be below $30,150 for a one-person household or below $34,450 for a two-person household.

Landlord, personal, professional and criminal references are required.


Management and Operations
Providence House Oakland is owned and operated by the Providence Health System, a nonprofit Catholic health care organization dedicated to serving all in need.
