New cancer treatments must prove to be safe and effective in scientific studies, also known as clinical trials, before they can be made widely available to patients. By performing clinical trials we learn which treatments are more effective than others. These trials help find new and better treatments for our patients.
Providence Health & Services offers a variety of clinical research trials for many types of cancers. If you would like more information, please call (800) 833-8899 (extension 56014).
