A Traveling Exhibit Supporting Hospice
The Portraits of Healing photography exhibit acknowledges the 30th anniversary of Providence Hospice of Seattle in 2005 and celebrates 30 years of caring for our community. This exhibition by Seattle portrait photographer Nancy Medwell tells the story of hospice by highlighting patients, their families and dedicated hospice caregivers.
The purpose of Portraits of Healing is to provide the members of our community with vital information about hospice before they or their loved ones need it. During 2006, the exhibit traveled throughout King County to a variety of venues, raising community awareness and educating thousands of families, individuals and employees about hospice care. It will continue to travel throughout 2008.
