- All staff trained in First Aid, CPR, and basic caregiving following Department of Social and Health Services requirements.
- Daily medication supervision or assistance - reminding, coaching, and guiding.
- Nurse available to consult with staff about health care needs of the residents.
- Home-cooked meals and snacks based on resident preferences.
- Activities are provided at the house by staff and volunteers with occasional community outings.
- Assistance with daily living needs such as dressing, bathing, laundry, and house chores.
Our philosophy is to respect and honor each person's unique capabilities and contributions.
Access to the Mount
Residents of the Mount's Adult Family Home Program can have access to Providence Mount St. Vincent's health clinic and services including the pharmacy, and have consideration for any future nursing center assignment.
Who Is Eligible?
Eligible residents include any older adult (age 60+) who has confusion and memory loss or who needs supervision for safety. Other guidelines include:
- Ambulatory.
- Manageable medical and health care needs.
- Does not need secured, locked setting.
- Prefers small, familiar place to live.
- Able to share a room.
- Needs frequent coaching/reminding but can respond to direction.
- Benefits from 24-hour awake staff.
- Manageable incontinence program.
Providence Mountain View is located in the Highland Park neighborhood in southwest Seattle, overlooking Boeing Field and the Cascade Mountains.
Fees
The monthly rental fee is $3,930. This fee includes activities, all meals, laundry, housekeeping, personal care, and nursing services.
