Memorial Service
Held annually in early November,  2:00 PM, PMSV Chapel - 3rd floor
Please join us for this annual service to honor the memory of those who have lived and died at Providence Mount St. Vincent, especially those who have died in the past year. This is a beautiful non-denominational service and we invite all to join us. Reception follows. For more information, email colleen.cremin@providence.org or call (206) 938-6194.

Hallelujah Trees
1st Floor lobby at The Mount. Ornaments go on sale in mid November.
Family members, residents, staff and volunteers sponsor ornaments in honor or memory of their loved ones, family and friends to benefit the residents and programs of The Mount. Ornaments are placed on the Hallelujah Tree with dedication tags and the beautiful tree is on display in the lobby from early December through early January. Download order form. For more information, contact Arlene at (206) 938-6191 or e-mail arlene.carter@providence.org.

Black Tie Bingo 2009
Saturday, March 28th - New location - Bell Harbor on the Waterfront
Bring your family and friends for fun, fabulous food and BINGO with great prizes. Cost is $125 per person. RSVP's are a must - this event always sells out! Art Gallery - Year Round
2nd floor between rehab gym and cafeteria (inside 2nd floor lobby)
Local and community artists featured. Shows change every 6 weeks. Open to the public at no charge. A portion of the sale proceeds benefit the intergenerational art programs at The Mount. Held periodically through the year, these seminars address topic of concern to the general public. Call for more information (206) 938-6194.
At a recent seminar, Janet covered reading and understanding long-term care insurance policies. No selling - these presentations are informational only! Hors d'Oeuvres and beverages are served.

 

Antiques Appraisal Show
(aka Antiques Roadshow)
Held annually in the spring, 10 am - 3 pm - 2nd floor resident's lounge
Professional appraisers give oral appraisals of your treasures and antiques, jewelry, toys, art, etc. For more information, call (206) 938-6191. All proceeds benefit the residents and programs of Providence Mount St. Vincent. Small fee per item - first come, first served - no reservations required!

Antique Car Show
Held annually on Father's Day      2:00 - 3:30 PM
Admission is free and all are welcome! Cars are displayed in the parking area adjacent to the cafe. All classic and antique car owners are welcome to bring their cars to display. For more information, call Christina at (206) 938-6194.

Summer Concerts at The Mount
Friday evenings in August      5 - 7:30 PM
Admission is free and all are welcome! Great food available for purchase at reasonable prices. (Beer/wine available for those over 21.) Live music starts at 6 pm. Bring a blanket or a lawnchair and join us on the south patio (outside the Cafe) for fabulous musical entertainment. Special activities for kids each night (face painter, magician, bouncey house to name a few). Check back here for more information and the line-up of musicians in May 2009!
