Providence Medford Medical Center continues its focus on the health
of our community by providing these classes.


COMMUNITY AQUATICS PROGRAM

ALL CLASSES ARE OFFERED IN 8-WEEK SESSION


AQUA AEROBICS
Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 6:00 a.m. & 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday - 6:00 a.m. & 5:30 p.m.

The Aerobics classes are high-energy water fitness classes designed to increase cardiovascular endurance, body toning and strengthen.


AQUA SENIOR AEROBICS
Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 7:00 a.m. & 8:00 a.m.
Tuesday, Thursday - 7:00 a.m. & 3:00 p.m.

The Senior Aerobics class is a lower intensity class designed for mature individuals. Focusing on increasing cardiovascular endurance, body toning and strengthening.


AQUA ARTHRITIS
Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 12:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday - 9:00 a.m.; 10:00 a.m.; 12:00 p.m.

The Arthritis classes are designed to maintain strength, range of motion, & decrease pain.


AQUA FIBROMYALGIA
Tuesday, Thursday - 11:00 a.m.; 2:00 p.m.; 4:30p.m.; 6:30 p.m.

The Fibromyalgia class is designed to increase endurance, strength, and flexibility. The class allows for individual progression as the person tolerates exercise.


AQUA HEALTHY BACK
Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday - 1:00 p.m.

Emphasizes flexibility, strength, posture and functional body movement/mechanics.


ADAPTIVE AQUATICS
Tuesday, Thursday - 8:00 a.m.

Designed for those with needing special adaptive exercises, including neurological dysfunctions, post-mastectomy and limited mobility, Focusing on balance training, mobility, toning and improving general fitness.


AQUA PRE-NATAL/POST-PARTUM
Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 7:30 p.m.

A fun exercise class created for the unique physiological effects of pregnancy and after childbirth. Focus on developing muscle tone, strength and endurance to help mothers-to-be.


CAREGIVER TRAINING
An entry level education to caregiving.

Learn to care for yourself while caring for another, reduce stress, communicate effectively, problem-solve.

DIABETES SUPPORT CLINIC
A free, weekly drop-in support service for diabetics.

An American Cancer Society program to help women cope with hair loss and skin changes during cancer treatment.
