DETAILS: Everyone has sensed pain, but some people experience pain that doesn’t go away. Along with discomfort, chronic pain can cause low self-esteem, depression and anger, and it also can interfere with daily activities. Sometimes chronic pain is caused by specific incident, while in other cases it occurs for no apparent reason. But the pain is very real and can be debilitating.

Join us for a panel discussion with experts from Pain Management Consultants, P.C. Panelists will include an interventional pain specialist, a psychologist, and a physical therapist. Hear how they treat patients with a multidisciplinary approach to chronic pain. Also learn about causes of chronic pain and ways to reclaim your life.

Providence Women’s Health is pleased to offer this opportunity for women to learn the latest information about your most important asset – your health and the health of your family. Relax and enjoy refreshments provided by Providence Women’s Health as our experts discuss issues relevant to women today.

The lectures are free, but registration is requested. You can register online at www.providence.org/classes or by calling the Providence Resource Line: 503-574-6595.
