Providence Medical Group – Sunnyside Adds Family Medicine Physician

MILWAUKIE, Ore. — Mhairi McFarlane, M.D., a family practice physician, has joined the staff of Providence Medical Group – Sunnyside.

Dr. McFarlane chose family medicine as her profession in order to develop long-term relationships with her patients. “I feel privileged to work with patients throughout their life cycle,” she says. In her practice, she emphasizes preventive care and patient education. She believes listening to patients is one of her most important roles as a physician and that every patient should be actively involved in his or her health care decisions.

Dr. McFarlane earned her medical degree from the University of Glasgow in her native Scotland. She completed her residency at Oregon Health & Science University. Outside of the office, she enjoys cooking and loves playing with her two sons.
