Erin Allen

Erin Allen, M.D.

Board Certified: Dermatology

Dr. Allen appreciates the long-term relationships she establishes with her patients. “I learn something from my patients every day, whether it’s a new recipe, a local event, or how to be a better physician,” she says. She describes her philosophy of care as being a team approach, noting, “The patient needs to feel comfortable and understand the diagnosis and how we’ll fix it together.”

Dr. Allen is a board-certified dermatologist who earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. She completed her dermatology residency and her fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Saint Louis University in Missouri, the fellowship accredited by the American College of Mohs Surgery.

Having grown up on a farm outside of Lawrence, Kan., Dr. Allen is an avid outdoorswoman and animal lover. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Andrew, exploring Portland.

Jill Wellnitz, P.A.-C.

Making a difference in the lives of others every day is why I became a physician assistant,” says Jill Wellnitz. “I like to focus on the needs of the patient as a whole, not just the skin we’re treating.”

An anthropology and sociology graduate of St. Mary’s College in Moraga, Calif., Jill went on to earn her master of physician assistant studies degree at Oregon Health & Science University. She became a certified physician assistant in 2005.

A native Oregonian, Jill was born and raised in northeast Portland. Whenever possible, she likes to visit the Oregon coast and the mountains with her husband and young son. Jill also enjoys photography, cooking and sewing.
