Home Health Services Our home health department provides skilled medical care for patients who are ready to leave the hospital or a skilled nursing facility but who still require skilled nursing or therapy. These services often serve as an alternative to hospitalization by providing assessment and skilled care wherever the patient lives. Hospice Expert, compassionate care is provided to adults and children with life-threatening illnesses when cure is no longer a realistic goal. The hospice team provides care where the patient lives, whether at home, in an adult foster home or an intermediate care facility. People with cancer, heart disease, AIDS and respiratory diseases often choose hospice care so that they can remain with their loved ones in a familiar, comfortable environment. Home Infusion Home Infusion brings intravenous (IV) therapy to patients outside of traditional hospital settings. In private homes, foster homes, residential care facilities or infusion suites, patients in Oregon and Southwest Washington can benefit from home infusion services. A nurse clinician and a pharmacist work closely with the referring physician to ensure appropriate, high-quality care. Home Medical Equipment In addition to home oxygen and medical equipment, Providence Home and Community Services provides home medical equipment, maintenance and services. Emilie House is a 40-unit apartment building operated by Providence Health & Services. It has provided quality senior living accommodations for more than a decade. It has large studio and one-bedroom apartments. Each apartment has a private bath with shower / tub and a complete kitchen. Full carpeting and draperies are provided.
