The Oregon Medical Laser Center seeks to develop innovative medical technologies that save lives. Contributions are essential in giving our experts the resources they need to continue to develop treatments for cancer, heart disease, and stroke.
Giving to the Oregon Medical Laser Center’s Research Fund provides the greatest amount of flexibility for Kenton Gregory, M.D., to support work in biomaterials research, tissue engineering, and cell therapy. This fund supports work in all areas and all laboratories, in clinical patient trails, for equipment purchases, and in the recruitment and education of scientific staff. It is also critical to providing seed funding for innovative scientific initiatives, enabling support through competitive grants. Gifts of all sizes are welcome.
Funding facts
One hundred percent of all contributions to OMLC are used to support research, including the costs of equipment, like the $1 million dollar confocal microscrope (shown here). This microscrope, one of the most powerful of its kind in the world, has played a key role in several breakthrough research findings by OMLC. It was funded entirely throught private donations.
