The "Ink Out" Youth Violence program is designed to assist Thurston County youth under 25 years of age make a positive change in their life through the removal of gang/cult-related tattoos and participation in a self-development program with community agencies. The program’s sponsors include STOP The Violence of Thurston County, Community Youth Services, Providence St. Peter Hospital Laser Center and local physicians. Youth must meet the following qualifications to participate in the program:
- Be committed to a gang-free lifestyle
- Reside in Thurston County
- Be 25 years of age or younger
- Have visible gang/cult-related tattoos on arm, face or neck
- Be interested in pursuing a positive lifestyle change
