Providence Child Center cares for some of the most vulnerable children in our communities with resources and residential care for medically fragile children. Founded in 1964, we are the only 24-hour skilled nursing facility in the Northwest helping medically fragile children have the best childhood possible. We provide compassionate care, develop best practices, and disseminate information, services and support regionally and nationally to the families and care providers of medically fragile children. To help more families with special needs children, we will endow all 58 of our residential beds in the Center for Medically Fragile Children. With the ongoing financial needs of the medically fragile children met, we will invest in our resource center and neurodevelopment services program, provide more respite care and introduce specialty medical and dental clinics.
