Recent Successes
reaches new records

Scott Hamilton, Olympic gold medal figure skater, role model, humanitarian and cancer survivor, was the keynote speaker for the Positive Perspectives: Creating Hope for Cancer Patients fund-raising luncheon. Attendees at the luncheon raised more than $400,000 to support ongoing research efforts at the Robert W. Franz Cancer Research Center in the Earle A. Chiles Research Institute.

The decorating team from Metro West Ambulance celebrates the success of their tree, Silver Anniversary Dream, and the 25th anniversary of Providence Festival of Trees. The Gala Dinner and Auction sold out with more than 900 guests in attendance. The premier holiday evening raised more than $710,000 for Providence programs and services, including $425,000 for the construction of a new specialty clinic at Providence Child Center. This year’s Festival grossed more than $1 million and was visited by over 15,000 people.
